Main duties of the job

Applications are invited for a permanent full time Inflammatory Bowel Disease Co-ordinator.

We are looking for a self motivated person with previous secretarial experience to work as part of a busy specialty team. The successful applicant will need to possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to deal with confidential patient information. Along with an excellent level of secretarial and organisational skills, you will be required to provide first class administration support to the department/IBD service.

Previous knowledge of working within a hospital environment and knowledge of medical terminology would be desirable.

Strict patient confidentiality will be expected at all times. In addition, a knowledge/understanding of Referral to Treatment Time (RTT) pathways would be advantageous.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
