Development Manager – Carbon Capture
Location – London (Home based hybrid role)
Start date – Immediate
Salary – £45, – £60, (plus competitive benefits package)

The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Development Manager to work with a prestigious Global Client who have several offices across the UK. Our Client are looking for someone to develop projects within Carbon Capture across 6 of their UK Power Plants.

Roles & Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Development Director, as the Head of Project Delivery, you will be responsible for:

  • Prepare all planning documentation including environmental permits and planning applications
  • Building relationships with external stakeholders within the Carbon Capture market.
  • Coordinating technical and commercial responses to tenders
  • Liaise with key stakeholders including, Gas Suppliers, Environmental Agency, Landowners, Regulatory Authorities, Councils, etc.
  • Effectively managing and mitigating any project or operational risks
  • Producing technical studies and reports
  • Skills & Qualifications
    We are looking for someone with the following:

  • Excellent knowledge in town planning, waste management or Environmental permitting.
  • Previous experience within Carbon Capture.
  • Commercially astute
  • Happy to travel nationwide – driving license is essential
