We are seeking to recruit an animal care assistant for our animal care unit. You will be responsible for maintaining the extensive animal collection, support practical sessions and carrying out routine tasks associated with the Unit.

You will have a good general education, be qualified to at least level 3 in an animal related subject (national diploma or NVQ) and have experience of handling a range of animals.

The individual we are looking for will be able to work as part of a team as well as being self-motivated. You will have a desire to work with and motivate young people and will hold a full driving licence. The successful candidate will be required to work some weekends and the remaining hours will be carried out during the week.
