Junior Accountant

Location – Ellesmere Port
Salary – £25,000 – £28,000
The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Junior Planner to join a growing EPC on a new build Waste to Energy project based in Ellesmere Port. The successful candidate will work closely with the Finance Director onsite.
Key Responsibilities for the Junior Accountant:
:
* Managing accounts payable from invoice recording to payment
* Supporting month-end and year-end activities (e.g. prepare monthly accruals)
* Supporting monthly and quarterly VAT filings, both domestically and internationally
* Establishing a strong working relationship with counterparts in Greece
Skills and Qualifications:
* High professional with initial accounting/finance experience
* Solid education background in accounting, finance or equivalent
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Self-starter with hands on mentality and the ability to act and operate independently to accomplish objectives
* Proficiency with MS Office applications
* Competent to meet assigned deadlines under pressure
* Detail-orientation, structure, methodology and organizational skills
