NLC7 £23, – £26, (Pro Rata)
Working within the Community Learning & Development team you will be responsible for delivering CLD services as part of the Community Learning and Development Service, with a focus on community-based Gaelic services.
Your role will be to develop and co-ordinate community-based Gaelic services, in line with the North Lanarkshire Gaelic Language Plan, and CLD funding agreement. Your role will sit within the Adult Learning section, although you may also be required to work with families and young people.
Previous experience in working with young people, families, and adults desirable.
Fluency or higher intermediate skills (minimum) in the Scottish Gaelic language (written and spoken) is essential.
An enthusiastic and motivated individual, you will have knowledge of different approaches to working within communities as well as good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team. Experience of partnership working, funding applications, report writing, and events organisation are desirable.
CLD Support Workers will be allocated across North Lanarkshire and may be required to work daytime, evenings and weekends as part of the role and responsibilities.
A relevant qualification of SCQF level 5 and above is essential.
You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to starting this post.
Various work patterns and will include daytime and evening provision, including hours weekends both day and evening provision.
