The Role

This role reports to the Digital and Content Manager and sits within the busy Digital and Content team along with the copywriter and digital content officer. We are a small, friendly, helpful team and we work on a wide range of digital content and projects. Our drive is ensuring that our prospective and current students’ interaction with our website and intranet is easy, engaging and supportive. While there is an element of routine to the role, no day is the same.

The Candidate

Ensuring our site visitors have a positive experience is vital so a passion and thorough comprehension of site performance and trouble-shooting is a must.

We are looking for a self-motivated, switched-on, team player who is solutions driven with a ‘can-do’ attitude. If you have the ability to prioritise your own workload and be determined to seeing things through, have excellent communication and time management skills we’d love to hear from you.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure our digital channels meet accessibility guidelines and work across a range of browsers
  • Analyse and advise on website performance data to understand key barriers to conversion
  • Flagging potential issues and promptly trouble shoot and fix technical issues when they arise
  • Work with a third-party supplier to improve website functionality
  • Set up accurate and effective digital performance tracking
  • Advise and train staff how to use CMS platforms
  • Provide online status reports by gathering, analysing and contextualising data
  • Monitor analytics governance compliance across the website and intranet
  • Maintain management for the website’s measurement plan, adjusting the scope when required
  • Continually evolve Ravensbourne SEO roadmap, ensuring technical implementation is robust and reflects the latest developments in the SEO landscape
  • Desired skills, but not essential
    • Project management
    • Knowledge of Screamingfrog, Sitebulb, and Ahrefs
    • Knowledge of UX/UI and user journeys
    • CMS training
    • Writing for the web
