The Role

We have an excellent opportunity for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to come and join our team here at Links Vets, East Lothian. The role includes a mix of companion animal consulting, surgery and animal care. Their will be some sole charge branch work also along side a dedicated branch team. Our out of hours provision is run by the vets from our main Haddington hospital, the nurse team are on call to assist the vets when a case should arise. The successful candidate will work Mon – Fri 40 hrs per week, shift patterns vary from 7.30am – 12am starts, 8 hour days, 1 in 8 weekends, 1 in 7 on call rota.

About Us

Links Vets has 5 branches across beautiful East Lothian, with beaches and countless outdoor pursuits on our doorstep. Our main Haddington branch is housed in a purpose built building and equipped with digital xray, ultrasound, dental suite, two dedicated operating theatres, prep room, separate cat and dog ward and 4 large, airy consult rooms. We have visiting orthopaedic, internal medicine and cardiac specialists which allow for internal work up of complex cases, with plans for in house ophthalmology referral service.

About the Team and Culture

Our team consists of 12 Veterinary Surgeons, 11 Registered Veterinary Nurses and a strong, dedicated Reception team. We are a friendly and relaxed team who enjoys working together in a supportive environment. Training and further development are also actively encouraged and supported.
