The Role

We are looking for a Vehicle Technician/Service Technician to join our dedicated team. As one of our trusted Vehicle Technicians you will be repairing, servicing and maintaining the Addison Lee fleet that consists of VW Sharan’s, Mercedes Benz and Ford Galaxy’s to name a few.

The ideal candidate will be technician will at least hold a Level 2 certification and will ideally have gained some experience working within a dealership or vehicle manufacturer. You could be looking for a new environment in which to excel or perhaps you are just looking for a new challenge working for an iconic and trusted brand such as Addison Lee.

Due to the nature of our business, our workshop operates on a shift basis with the shift pattern to be confirmed.

Hours: Full Time

Location: Grand Union, Hayes, UB3 4QR


  • Vehicle maintenance, repairs and full servicing
  • Fault finding/diagnostics
  • Repairs
  • Warranty work
  • Liaising with and communicating directly with drivers
  • Any other duties required by management
  • Requirements

  • Main dealership experience
  • Relevant vehicle/motor-repair related qualifications – NVQ 1,2 & 3 or City & Guilds
  • Own tools (for general servicing and repairs)
  • Driving licence
  • Diagnostic training & diagnosing faults
  • Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
  • Ability to plan ahead and deal with unexpected changes
  • Time Management and organisation skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good interpersonal and team work skills
  • Computer literate
