If so, our client has a great job opportunity for you; a Team Manager – Business Services within their busy Property Services department.

About the organisation

They are one of the largest locally based housing organizations in the East Midlands. Across the region they manage over 9,000 homes; house more than 15,000 tenants; provide over 1,500 bed spaces for people with support/care needs, in over 250 properties; and provide more than 500,000 hours of care and support each year.

About the role

Their Property Services department, currently based in Bulwell is an integral part of the organisation; organising the design, installation, maintenance, servicing and repair work for their housing stock. As a Team Manager – Business Services, you will manage a team of Work Planners and administration staff within the Department.

Based in Bulwell, they are looking to recruit someone who has demonstrable experience in managing and developing teams.

The hours of work are 35 per week between the hours of 8am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.

About you

You will have a management qualification to NVQ level 3 standard or equivalent experience. You will also have demonstrable interpersonal skills and a proven ability to communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders. You will be approachable, have recent demonstrable experience in managing and developing large teams and have substantial experience of work planning within a property maintenance environment.

Experience of working within a pressurised environment to meet deadlines, prioritising and planning own workloads will also be a bonus plus an understanding of Landlord compliance.

Finally you will possess excellent IT skills and demonstrable experience of being highly motivated with strong organisation skills.
