We have a new vacancy for a Community Enabler to join KeyRing in Flintshire. A driving license and a vehicle are essential for this role. This is a part-time post of 10 hours per week with the salary is £9.50 per hour.
KeyRing have been commissioned by Flintshire County Council to provide a new Community Enrichment & Transport Service which is part of a wider Community Disability Support Service, working in partnership with other identified key agencies.
Empower and enable adults and children with disabilities to feel valued and to actively contribute and participate in their local communities.
Engage with adults and children with disabilities; working with individuals to recognise and harness their strengths, resources and skills.
Provide information and advice regarding local transport and facilitate training for safe and equal access to transport.
Provide advice, resources, practical training and support to help adults and children with disabilities to establish and sustain projects and initiatives.
Offer access to technical expertise.
Provide information and guidance relating to funding streams and fundraising opportunities to support the growth of active and sustainable communities
Must be able to travel on public transport to offer travel training to citizens.
Good knowledge of the Flintshire area
Must have a driving licence and a vehicle for this role
