About The Role

Community Integrated Care is recruiting for Support Workers in Castleton, North Yorkshire! We can offer both full time and part time roles, with daytime and night-time shift patterns available.

As a Support Worker, you will support people who have learning disabilities, autism, mental health concerns or dementia with their daily routines. You will be joining an award-winning charity. This is an exciting role, where you can change lives for the better and enjoy brilliant experiences.

At Esk Moors Lodge there are 14 self-contained flats, complete with a kitchen area and bathroom, there will be a core support service with Domiciliary and Ad hoc care for the residents. There is a lift which provides easy access to all 3 floors of the building the service has a summer house, hairdressing facilities and a large communal screen for watching movies on, there is real community feel which is encouraged by the staff and volunteers. Situated in the Upper Esk Valley, it’s close to Castleton Moor train station, with regular trains to nearby towns and cities such as Whitby and Middlesbrough.

You will be providing support to tenants living at the scheme 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, including bank holidays and weekends. Core staffing team will respond to emergencies or to provide unplanned care needs, be flexible and responsive and available to meet the persons needs.

Prior experience of working in care isn’t always necessary. If you have other skills and experiences that you can bring to this role, we will give you all the support that you need.

You will use the best of your personality and skills every day. From supporting people to enjoy their favourite activities to enabling people to live independently, you will make a real difference.
