We are looking for Support Workers in Ipswich to support three gentleman in their 20’s with communication difficulties. You will enjoy sharing activities with the person we support such as walks, in house activities, sensory, 1-1 time, drives out. Now we are starting to see the ease of lockdown restrictions, we are seeking Support workers who can assist the people we support to eating out, activities, cinema's and many more. This role will involve full personal care including bathing, toileting and changing.

Location: Ipswich, SuffolkHourly rate – £8.91 per hourHours – Full time and part time positions available Contract type: Permenant  

We have a lively atmosphere with a team of three-four Support Workers. This is not a lone working service and you would be joining a region who provide ongoing support and leadership from the management team including mental health. All our Support Workers go through a 12 week training programme including 2-4 weeks of shaddowing shifts, medication training, completion of the care certificate and many more! 

Shift patterns will vary weekly and work around the people we support including 7am -3pm/2pm – 10pm/ and alternate weekends (to be discussed at interview).

We can offer a variety of contracts from:

  • Full time- 37.5 hours per week
  • Part time- 30 hours per week
  • Waking nights- 10 hours per week (Sunday only)
