Content & Social Executive – PRO

Myprotein PRO is our premium range of sports supplements. It features the highest quality, patented ingredients to support the most dedicated and professional athletes.

We are looking for someone who can crate create compelling content for an exciting, innovative sports nutrition brand.. With our growing marketing team, we are looking for someone who is ambitious, hardworking and can learn quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing content on website, blogs and social platforms, working within the Global Brand team to deliver a brand-building content plan.
  • Create relevant and educational content for the brand website, social content and blog articles that are high quality and on-brand.
  • Liaise with the wider marketing channels (influencers, CRM, content and social) to find ways of amplifying the content and positioning the brand within the wider Myprotein strategy.
  • Manage site content, provide product and marketing copy and input into marketing campaigns.
  • Work with the social media team to plan and schedule social first content to support campaign activity as well as the BAU content pipeline for the brand
  • To work with the social media team and the ambassador team to source content ideas for high priorities channels – this may include community groups along with traditional social platforms (IG etc)
  • Respond to the brand community via social channels (non-customer service related) to drive advocacy and build rapport
  • Source and create content to be used across channels to support platform growth and brand engagement.
  • Ensure our brand aesthetic and brand personality is always reflected across all content and social media.
  • Research new trends and areas of innovation, identifying new opportunities to help grow the Myprotein PRO brand awareness and reach.
  • Seek partnership opportunities with external contributors and/or relevant publishers to drive reach new audiences.
  • Use standard reporting tools like Google Analytics to analyse website’s statistics and use key metrics to report on consumer insights, content, and social performance.
  • Requirements

  • A degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. History, English, media) / marketing discipline (e.g. marketing, business management).
  • Experience of and a passion for writing!
  • Experience creating content for social media channels
  • Experience using social media scheduling tools
  • A keen eye for detail with excellent content and copywriting skills.
  • A genuine passion for fitness, nutrition and interest in the brand and products.
  • Creatively minded, looking to push the boundaries and try new things.
  • Ambitious, driven, keen to learn and develop their skills and role within the team.
  • Experience with developing and executing content or social media strategies
  • Experience of Google Analytics.
  • Proofreading experience.
  • Additional language skills are a bonus but not a necessity.
