About the opportunity:

Jacobs are looking for experienced land quality specialists to work in our UK and Europe Land Quality team which includes over 70 contamination specialists. We need enthusiastic and motivated people who have spent several years working on a range of contaminated land projects and who have a good knowledge of regulatory requirements and best-practice approaches to land quality assessment in the UK.

We are looking for people whose home office could be located in either London, Birmingham, Glasgow or Edinburgh.

Key Requirements

You will need to be a team player, capable of developing a network of contacts with clients and within the wider Jacobs team. The ability to guide and mentor junior staff is key, as you will play a vital role in developing our early-career team members.

You should possess:

  • Significant experience in the field of Land Quality
  • A high level of personal responsibility
  • Have an adaptable and flexible approach to project requirements
  • Commercial awareness is essential as you will be given responsibility for managing budgets and programmes.

    Technical/Qualifications

    Ideally you will be chartered or working towards chartered status – we have team members available to support applicants through the chartership process at all of the leading environmental institutions.
