The Role:

Our Resources and Assets directorate brings together a wide range of services – from finance to HR, IT to law – that help the Council to run effectively. Working as part of a highly professional and supportive team, you’ll provide top-level administrative, PA and project assistance to the Executive Director and departmental Directors. Every day is different: as well as arranging meetings, preparing reports and dealing with a range of enquiries, you’ll plan and organise a range of events and keep track of all management information.

About You:

Well-organised and assertive, you’ll be ready to make decisions and take on real responsibility. While your background could be in the public or private sector, you’re likely to have substantial experience in business support or PA work. Highly proficient in a range of office software such as SharePoint and the Microsoft Office suite, you’ll be ready to turn your hand to a broad range of tasks, and will be adaptable and quick to learn. Excellent written and spoken communication skills are essential, along with accuracy and attention to detail.
