Balfour Beatty VINCI has an exciting opportunity for an Earthworks Section Engineer to join the Sublot 2 team in Kenilworth!

Role purpose:

To Control of a section of the works, according to a specific discipline. Management of a team of Site Engineers within same discipline.

What you’ll be doing

  • Ensures the delivery, control and validation of Earthworks Permanent and Temporary Works Design and its coordination within the design of the Sub-Lot
  • Ensures the compliance with technical and contractual requirements, especially with regards to Health & Safety and Environment
  • Ensures that sufficient resources are allocated to the Works Section and that each has an appropriate level of ability. Establishes opportunities for mentoring to facilitate this
  • Ensures the mobilization, demobilization and relocation of resources in accordance with the execution programme
  • Maintains social peace on the section
  • Identifies longer term strategic training to support individual development as required
  • Who we’re looking for

  • Degree level qualification in a Civil Engineering allied subject or HND in Civil Engineering is desirable
  • Previous experience working as a Section Engineer on a large scale civils/infrastructure project, for a main contractor or sub contractor
  • Good knowledge and experience on Earthworks on major Projects
