Job Description

You’ll help deliver successful commercial outcomes across our three sales channels: third-party price comparison websites; affinity partnerships and our direct channels.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, and working alongside others in our Sales & Marketing team, you’ll have a track record of generating exceptional commercial results, with a strong focus on acquisition.

In addition to managing the channels, you’ll have a detailed and exacting approach to data to improve our sales performance, and a commercial eye for pricing and promotions. You’ll have a strong understanding of technical processes, to help to continually improve the joining experiences for Members.

You’ll have compelling communication and presentation skills, and be confident representing Pure Planet with a range of partners.

You’ll be an ambitious self-starter, relish successful results and thrive working in a creative team. In a nutshell, you’ll be able to work well with others to deliver the best outcomes for our Members and Pure Planet. 

Key deliverables

  • Meet or exceed sales targets
  • Design and deliver comprehensive account plans 
  • Structure pricing and promotions to deliver targets
  • Manage channel accounts including leading price comparison sites, developing long-term strategic relationships
  • Deliver sales funnel improvements to improve Member satisfaction and sales targets
  • Provide clear reporting and insight into channel development

    Your experience:

  • at least five years experience with a proven track-record working in a similar role, ideally with some energy sector experience
  • leadership, delivering change and driving sales performance;
  • data analysis skills, using reporting tools
  • strong commercial acumen
  • a performance, results-orientated mindset
  • good budgeting skills
  • great negotiation skills
  • product development
  • pricing and promotions planning
  • technical understanding of customer journeys;

  • Due to COVID19, we all currently work from home and are planning to do so until it’s safe to return to the office. Depending on how government guidelines change over the coming months, this role can either be worked from the office or a mixture of remote and office.
