The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our dedicated referral team. A successful applicant would work in both medical and surgical disciplines, assisting with procedures. Applicants must be looking to challenge themselves daily and be keen to further their knowledge. There would be opportunities to share experience by teaching and assisting other members of both the first opinion and referral nursing teams. Full time and part time applications will be considered. 1:8 weekends on call. No nights.

About Us

Rosemary Lodge Veterinary Hospital is situated on the outskirts of the beautiful City of Bath, with easy access into the City and surrounding countryside. We are a first opinion and referral hospital with on-site CT, MRI, digital radiography, dental radiography, arthroscopy, endoscopy, laparoscopy, in house diagnostics, and separate feline and canine wards. We pride ourselves on our friendly working environment and our focus on staff wellbeing. Staff are activity encourage to develop their skills and knowledge via in-house learning and CPD.

We work closely with a number of local charities and staff the vet suite at Bath Cats and Dogs Home. We are a sociable group and have previously arranged many staff outing and activities including sporting events and craft evenings.

Applicant Requirements

We are looking for a registered RVN who is hard working, confident to work in a larger team and has the desire to fully utilise their nursing skills. Previous hospital and referral experience desirable but not essential.
