Acting as the initial point of contact for recruitment, co-ordinate the recruitment and appointment process for all grades of medical staff, using agreed standard operating procedures providing routine information to applicants and hiring managers relating to recruitment activities, including processing of applications; short listing, sending and following up reference requests, Occupational Health and DBS clearances and interviews.

To enter information into relevant systems (Electronic Staff Records; Intrepid; NHS Jobs etc) and to provide recruitment and vacancy information from these on a monthly basis.

Where necessary to undertake direct liaison between divisions and external Locum Agencies to determine locum doctor cover requirements for absences / vacancies and arrange locum doctor cover as appropriate in accordance with Department of Health Locum Code of Practice and other relevant guidelines including Health Board policies and procedures.

Work effectively as a key member of the Recruitment team by providing an efficient, accurate and prompt administrative support to the Recruitment team including reception; photocopying, filing, answering telephone calls, processing Oracle procurement orders ensuring a high level of customer service through effective and timely communication.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
