Could you deliver a warm welcome as our front of house receptionist?

We are currently looking to recruit motivated and professional  Receptionists  to support our  admin  and management team at Forest Court – in Calmore. Forest Court is a nursing home set in a beautiful woodland location on the edge of the New Forest providing 24 hour nursing care, including care for residents with dementia and we are looking for dedicated and dynamic team members to support our front of house team.

You’ll play an essential role acting as the first point of contact for all visitors to the home; helping to improve our service by directing visitors and telephone calls to the correct location in a friendly and efficient manner. Weekend working will also be required.

About You:

To be considered for this hugely satisfying role, you will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to be a team player. You will also need the ability to approach tasks with confidence and clarity and be able to work using your own initiative. 

No two days are the same in this varied and rewarding role and you will be the face of the service providing the first point of contact for visitors including residents, families, colleagues and health care professionals.

As a general guide, your duties may include:

• Reception duties
• Day to day cash handling such as Petty Cash & Meal Money
• Minute taking
• Helping with resident and family enquiries
• Supporting with admin for resident admissions and discharges
• Photocopying
• Data entry & typing duties

Full COVID-19 vaccination status will be required as a condition of employment.

Recent legislation now mandates that anyone working in a CQC registered care home, which includes all regulated services

in HCC Care, and those visiting in a professional capacity, must be fully vaccinated (MHRA approved) by 11 November 2021.
