About the role

Balfour Beatty Vinci has an exciting opportunity for a Planning Manager to join our team to work in Birmingham.

Role Purpose:

Management of planning function of a specific section of HS2 with BBV.

What you’ll be doing

Management of the production and maintenance of working programme.

Produce and maintain Clause 32 monthly programme.

Ensure production of detailed Sub Lot programmes (in Synchro).

Review Sub-contractors Clause 31 and Clause 32 programmes.

Monitor progress against plan and reviewing in light of it.

Advise implementation team of logic and communicate amendments.

Lead production of process maps with Sub Lot Manager.

Ensure the production of As Built data.

Capture and integrate current and forecast programme, budget, cost, and risk at asset and sub-asset level.

Who we’re looking for

The following qualities/experience are essential:

– Primavera (all versions)

– Microsoft Project

– Word/Excel


– Synchro

Substantial site experience of which some must be in relevant disciplines and some as a senior discipline planner.

Considerable, in-depth experience of planning & project control services within large complex environments within the construction and engineering industry
