We have immediate opportunities to provide support workers to provide vital support to people with a learning disability through this tough time. We’re currently looking to recruit support workers for 20 hours per week on a permanent contract.

What does a Support Worker do?
As a Support Worker you will be expected to provide an outstanding level of support that will enormously contribute to the people we support, living a more comfortable, dignified, liberated and happy life.
In our Hoyland service you will be supporting people with learning disabilities both male and female to live independent and active lives. The people we support have a wide range of support needs and interests, which will make your role varied and interesting. You will be actively involved in promoting and encouraging them to make everyday choices in everything they do.
We are looking to recruit two individuals on a permanent, part time basis. Shifts are on a rota basis and includes weekends. Shift patterns: 07:00 – 15:00 , 07:30 – 15:00 , 15:00 – 20:00 , 1430 – 21:30 , 15:00 – 21:00 . We also have 1 to 1 hours with various times , which are allocated on the rota around the needs of the PWS for leisure and social activities.
As a Support Worker, flexibility is key both for yourself and for the service as you may be required to work a variety of different shifts throughout the week/weekends including mornings and evenings. You will also be required to work bank holidays.
