We are looking for multiple Care and Support Workers to join our kind, dedicated and caring team at our The Spinney in Eye.

As a member of our Extra Care scheme you’ll be integral to helping our customers to be independent and you will be motivated by seeing them develop as you work with them. You’ll be an empathetic individual with a natural flair in building relationships with our older people.

We are looking for care and support workers to help support our night shift on a relief basis.

If you’re new to care we’ll help introduce you and train you to build your experience in our sector. As a disability confident and inclusive employer we’ll always be delighted to hear from you.

With over 80 care sites you will have access to all career progression within our business (you could even apply to join our housing division). At induction stage you’ll find out all the great ways you can develop professionally too.

About You

Our ideal candidate will possess a passion for working in the care sector and will appreciate the importance of providing care for elder individuals. We are looking for Relief Night Care and Support Worker to join us who will go that extra mile whilst working as part of our team. If you are confident, reliable and interested in supporting people to live independently then you will play an instrumental part of this supportive team.

As a Care and Support Worker you will:

  • Be willing to provide personal care to males and females
  • Have experience of working with older persons
  • Be flexible to work a variety of shift patterns during these hours including some evening, weekend and bank holiday work.
  • Hold a current NVQ level 2 in Care or equivalent (desirable).
  • Be confident, reliable and interested in supporting people to live independently.
  • Be able to establish positive relationships and a good team player.
  • Demonstrate empathy, patience, humour and a ‘can do’ attitude.
