Role Title : Mental Health Coordinator

Location : Deeside

Contract Type : Fixed Term (until 30/09/2022) – Full time

Salary Points : 28-33  £27,164 – £30,613

Overview of Role 

Coleg Cambria are looking for a Mental Health Coordinator to join the inclusion team.  The role will require the successful applicant to promote a culture of mental wellbeing within all aspects of College life.  The role will involve coordinating our activities within our wellness hubs and developing the hubs within the College and wider community.  You will promote Trauma informed approaches  in conjunction with our College Mental Health Practitioner and work with our Active Cambria Coordinator to provide a holistic approach to wellbeing advice for staff and students.

Requirements

  • Educated to GCSE Level in English and Maths (Grade C or above)

  • Level 5 or above in a relevant qualification

  • Extensive experience of delivering or promoting positive mental wellbeing activities

  • Experience external and internal network development to support the college vision and wellbeing objectives

  • Experience of advocating on behalf of learners and/or staff to support knowledge of the broad range of learning needs and how to support these needs within the College environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
