  • Skills, Knowledge and Experience (Essential)

    Skills

  • Ability to process complex data sets
  • Ability to use analytics software and develop algorithms to perform analytics and identify trends.
  • Ability to use visualisation tools to produce performance dashboards.
  • Ability to collate detailed data and produce recommendations, taking into performance and financial implications.
  • Ability to establish a course of action for self and others, managing time, resources and surrounding circumstances to deliver objectives.
  • Excellent communication skills with proven negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Ability to develop business cases.
  • Ability to support co-ordination of team of shift workers.
  • Knowledge

  • Engineering Diploma, BEng or equivalent qualification (Desirable)
  • IT platforms for analytics and visualisation.
  • Member or Associate of a relevant professional institution (Desirable)
  • Working knowledge of asset management systems, ideally Maximo.
  • Experience

  • Engineering Diploma, BEng or equivalent qualification (Desirable)

  • Working knowledge of one or more railway infrastructure asset area: Track, Signalling equipment, Communications equipment, Ventilation equipment, Power equipment, Lifts & Escalators and Fire Protection systems.
