We’re Nottingham Community Housing Association, known to many as NCHA. We’ve been around since 1973, and these days we house more than 20,000 people across the East Midlands. We employ approximately 1,200 colleagues across the East Midlands and manage over 9,000 homes; house more than 15,000 tenants; provide over 1,500 bed spaces for people with support/care needs, in over 250 properties; and provide more than 950,000 hours of care and support each year.

Do you have significant previous experience in creating MI BI capability, creating reports/dashboards/insight, data management, data visualisation, strong hands on technical experience of MI tools and the ability to translate technical skills and data into valuable insight? Can you develop and lead our MI function to support our changing business needs? If the answer is yes, this is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the MI strategy and capability for our vibrant social housing and care business.

As our MI Data and Reporting Manager you will be responsible for the development and delivery of NCHA management information, reporting and associated data along with associated systems and processes. This role will be accountable for utilising effective change management to develop the function and meet future business needs. You will provide specialist expertise in management information, modern reporting processes and associated systems to the NCHA Group.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Extensive experience of enterprise MI Management in a complex medium to large organisation operating in a regulated sector
  • Education to degree level in a relevant subject, as such you will have a good working knowledge of SQL database technologies, Advanced Excel, MS Power BI and other related reporting tools
  • Experience of successfully managing change within a team
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Well-developed project management experience
