The Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the IT Project and Programmes team for an IT Project Co-ordinator to contribute to the delivery of critical projects supporting the council’s transformation agenda. You will be working with multidisciplinary teams across a range of projects to transform the way we deliver our services to Hampshire Residents. This is an exciting opportunity for both a junior project manager or someone looking to move into an IT project management to join a digitally progressive organisation providing high quality public services to over one million residents of Hampshire. 

You will ideally have some experience working within an IT environment, delivering solutions to a variety of customers. You will have strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain trust and confidence. 

An excellent communicator, you can demonstrate control of the project delivery through managing project tolerances, utilising project standards and tools to ensure clear governance. You drive high performance within your project team, successfully managing risk, issues, and maintaining control of the project.

The post is full time and currently working from home due to government COVID-19 restrictions. Hampshire County Council have a flexible working policy that could be considered.
