IT Application Support Consultant

The position is a core role within our IT department, where you will work with colleagues and customers across the business to provide outstanding service.

The role

Our IT team is hugely welcoming and inclusive. They pride themselves on collaboratively working with each other to deliver projects, alongside providing a flawless support service to our internal stakeholders. Working closely with colleagues within the Application Support team and the wider IT department, you’ll pull together to ensure the services delivered to our customers are of the highest quality.

The applications you will be supporting are of critical importance to the business. The role is primarily based around the support of Unit 4 Agresso (Financial Management Application) and other associated products, including SaaS and hosted solutions. Experience within Agresso support is desired but not mandatory.

A big part of this role is communication and relationship management. You’re going to be interacting with a wide range of stakeholders throughout the Wessex Water Group, so your passion and influencing skills will aid you when supporting your applications to a high standard.

What are we looking for?

To really flourish within this role and team, we are looking for an Application Support Consultant who wants to build on their previous experience. To be considered, you will have experience in and passion for providing high quality support services. The role is a technical role, and you will be configuring primary toolsets, querying databases and working with suppliers to resolve issues. You will be tasked with finding opportunities for automation and working within toolsets that enable this automation – experience within automation would be beneficial but is not mandatory.
