About the role

In house Resourcer/Researcher & Talent Acquisition Coordinator – Open to location

An exciting opportunity for a Researcher or Resourcer to join an in house talent acquisition team supporting the UK Odgers Berndtson Executive Search business in their talent agenda.

The role will involve but not be limited to:

Generating candidates

  • Research, attraction, and qualifying of candidates with a focus on diversity for current roles and talent pipeline
  • Responding to and engaging with direct applicants
  • Utilising our talent portal to engage with an active talent pool and building a strong pipeline of future talent
  • Liaising with outsourced recruitment partners and project managing candidate interviews with internal stakeholders
  • Graduate roles – advertising with universities; using social media to attract and create a talent pool of graduates and undergraduates
  • Talent Portal management

  • Troubleshooting and helpdesk issues
  • Advertising
  • Managing applications and initial qualification of candidates. 
  • GDPR and compliance support
  • Reporting on PSL diversity targets. 
  • Project support

  • Support on our Diversity Acceleration Plan
  • Support on Summer Internship programme
  • Support on reporting and analysis
  • About you

    You will be a skilled researcher or resourcer, able to engage with potential talent for our business by selling our EVP. Besides strong research capability, we will consider potential so you don’t need to have done all of the responsibilities listed above. We are happy to develop the right individual. Our target audience is competitor search and recruitment firms, so you could either have experience in one of these firms, or with a recruitment to recruitment organisation. 

    Critical skills for this role include:

  • The ability to work at pace without forgoing the detail
  • Self-starter, able to manage your own workload without much supervision and be results driven
  • A commercial mindset and the ability to see the implications of actions or decisions and anticipate 3 steps ahead
  • Exceptionally strong written skills (writing adverts, briefs and role profiles)
  • Have the ability to think creatively and be solutions focused
  • Have a proactive problem solving approach 
  • Excellent relationship building skills and and customer focused at all time
  • Not afraid of being on the phone
  • Honest, open and genuine!
