An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Trading Standards Imports team at Thurrock Council to cover a 12 month secondment. The role will involve working at Thurrock’s Ports and Border points to ensure unsafe items do not enter the UK. You will play a key role in delivering a high profile national project.

You should be a highly motivated individual and keen to learn, an excellent communicator with the ability to organise workloads and a strong team player.

You will have GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English (Grade A-C, 4-9). You will hold a full manual driving licence. No previous experience is required as full training will be given.
