As The Head of Shared Transactional Services at the Peterborough-Serco Strategic Partnership you will be accountable for the delivery of the Revenues & Benefits, Accounts Payable & Receivable, Penalty Charge Notice, Housing Benefit overpayment recovery and Adult Social Care finance services, with overall responsibility for circa 80-90 employees in these areas. 


We are looking for a topflight leader who will manage the day to day operations of the business, who will execute our strategy and who will transform and reinvigorate the services. You will achieve this through your ability to quickly grasp a thorough and detailed understanding of each of the services, the needs of the client and Serco’s strategic priorities. Overall as a passionate leader, you will motivate and engage your teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience whilst delivering change.


What you’ll need to do the role:

If you have experience working in a similar role in shared transactional services environment and you have a solid understanding or Revenues & Benefits in particular, then we want to hear from you. You will be able to evidence successful motivational leadership and change management of large multi-discipline service teams, ideally within the within the public sector.

You should also have experience of working in a commercial environment with proven ability to demonstrate successful management and control of large budgets, and delivery of KPI’s.

Naturally you will have exceptional communication skills and be an influential and persuasive leader who has a successful track record of developing long lasting relationships with key senior stakeholders.
