About the role

Graduate Researcher & Senior Researcher | Healthcare Practice

Our Healthcare Practice specialise in the appointment of world-class leaders, board members and non-executive directors within the broader public and private healthcare services. 

Research is critical to what we do. The core role of our Researchers is to identify, approach and assess candidates for the high-profile executive, non-executive & board appointments we work on, for our clients. You will be supported with training and development to succeed.

Candidate Generation & Attraction

  • Work with Fee Earners to identify appropriate target firms and construct the search strategy to be undertaken
  • Utilising our in-house CRM system, LinkedIn, external databases, social media, sourcing calls and the Internet to generate suitable candidates and market intelligence for each assignment. Continually expanding, updating and improving the existing candidate pool
  • Actively head-hunt relevant candidates, conducting initial telephone interviews with interested candidates
  • Assess and qualify candidates with the right skills and ensure they are fit for interview by the Consultant
  • Providing feedback to Consultants with details of interested candidates, outlining their relevant experience and motivations
  • With every approach made, promoting our reputation through effective candidate handling which consistently promotes, protects our reputation. This includes standing down candidates in a manner ensuring future approaches will be welcomed and valued
  • Assignment Support

  • Prepare weekly client progress reports, illustrating the assignment landscape and adapting/amending as the assignment develops
  • Provide feedback on market reaction to an assignment, the perception of the client and any other pertinent information gained
  • Adhere to best practice, ensuring all required candidate information is kept accurate
  • Actively encourage a diverse talent agenda and shortlist
