The Role:

We are currently looking to recruit General Assistants to work across our housekeeping, kitchen and laundry departments in a new service in Gosport.  

Hampshire County Councils’ Adults Health and Care provide a range of residential care and nursing services for older people across the county, some of whom are living with dementia. Woodcot Lodge – Clarence Unit is open to support adults with complex health needs following their discharge from hospital, and to then enable them to follow their pathway of choice be that return home or on to long term care. 

You do not need to have experience within the care industry, perhaps you have worked in the hospitality sector and now looking for a new opportunity, our main priority is to find people who share our values of being person centred, working together, accountability and resilience – could this be you?

As a general guide, duties may include:

  • Domestic duties including all areas of cleaning in resident, office and communal areas of the home and laundry
  • Washing up and basic food preparation
