Working remotely, the Financial Accounting Manager will be responsible for the financial accounting for the group, including production of the statutory accounts, tax including VAT and other regulatory returns. You will also line manage the Financial Accounting Team, and oversea the day to day system administration ensuring adequate controls are in place for processes.
This role will be home based with occasional travel to team meetings.
1st stage interviews will take place on 4th October via Microsoft teams and 2nd stage on the 8th October.
About the role
Your main duties will include:
Statutory accounts – being responsible for the production of all statutory accounts in the group, coordinating production of audit documentation, and coordinating audit visits
Internal controls – production of group balance sheets for management accounts, fraud monitoring, oversight of systems administration
Manage and develop the financial accounting team
Acting as a source of technical accounting advice for the group
The successful applicant will:
be qualified – ACA/ACCA or equivalent
have significant experience as a financial accountant
have experience in managing people
have strong system skills, with a logical and methodical approach
