    Introduction to the role:

    This is an exciting opportunity to be a Team Leader to an enthusiastic and skilled team of Finance System Analysts, under management and guidance of the Finance Systems Manager.

    You will lead and motivate the Team to deliver the best service and business objectives mainly from a business as usual (BAU) viewpoint.

    Working in unison with Finance Systems Manager to promote new services from Project into BAU as well as upgrades and enhancements to existing processes and systems.

    The role is regulated in accordance with SRA Outcome Focused regulation and other legislation that may be in force from time to time.

    Introduction to the team:

    The Finance Systems team is a friendly team that are responsible for various aspects of various systems including but not limited to; security, configurations, user management, system reconciliations, integrations, testing and user support.

    The work is diverse and interesting – no two days are alike, and you will have the opportunity to get involved with the wider Finance Division, IT department as well as other areas of the Firm.

  • Chrome River Expenses
  • Intapp Time
  • Intapp Open and Intake
  • CopiTrak

  • Key responsibilities:

  • Supervisory assistance, task co-ordination and ad-hoc management requests for team members from a BAU point of view
  • Services delivered in a timely and efficient manner
  • Taking an active role in improving and developing services delivered in line with business and division objectives
  • Promoting Best Practices
  • Supporting Business users
  • Working with the Finance Systems Manager implementing new services from Project to BAU

  • Proactive and positive approach
  • Ability to organise and lead a team, who leads by example
  • Approachable with the ability to manage time, and priorities efficiently
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines
  • Finance / Legal Cashier experience
  • Ability to learn efficiently the principles of accounting policies, regulations, and procedures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexibility in approach and a willingness to work outside normal office hours
  • The ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with staff and suppliers
  • Work to a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to develop solutions and evaluate issues / queries in a rapidly changing business environment
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
  • Experience with implementing new processes (systems & technical)
  • Desirable:

  • Experience working with Aderant Expert systems
  • Experience with implementing new systems (systems & technical infrastructure)
  • Knowledge of the operational factors which exist in a large law firm
  • Knowledge of the legal sector
  • Working in an environment of a lot of system integrations
