Community Integrated Care is recruiting for Advanced Support Workers,with flexible shift patterns.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced support worker to step up. You will support adults with (learning disabilities and autism), who have complex needs, to lead the best life possible. 

The ideal candidate must be have an interest in being active, healthy eating, pampering and shopping
You will be supporting a lady with an acquired brain injury who requires a consistent and supportive staff team, who will reassure her through various steps in her life.

Section 7(2b) of the Sex Discrimination Act 1975 applies that there is a genuine occupational qualification required female staff for this position.

About You

The ideal candidate will have a Level Three in Social Care and strong experience in (mental health, autism and sensory communication, and physical health). 

If you do not have a qualification, you need suitable experience. 

You will know how to connect with people and be passionate about supporting people to live independently. You will also be a brilliant mentor and share your skills and experiences with your colleagues.

We will develop your talents with a range of specialist training, including the opportunity to learn Positive Behaviour Support methods, (Makaton and the Picture Exchange System.) 

During recruitment you will meet the people we support in their home. This will allow you to see their wonderful personalities first-hand and fully understand the level of support that they require.
