About The Role

Community Integrated Care is recruiting for Advanced Support Workers with flexible shift patterns to join our team in Bournemouth.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and experienced support worker to step up and support a young man with a Learning Disability and Autism in his own home. He is non-verbal and requires support day and night.

He loves spending time in and out of his home, he enjoys listening to music and spending time in his garden as well as taking part in physical activities with some of his favourites being swimming, trampolining and attending the gym!

About You

The ideal candidate will have a Level Three in Social Care or equivalent experience with the willingness to work towards NVQ Level 3. You must have strong experience with people with learning disabilities and autism. Knowledge of Makaton would be beneficial for this role.

You will know how to connect with people and be passionate about supporting people to live independently. You will also be a brilliant mentor and share your skills and experiences with your colleagues. We will develop your talents with a range of specialist training, including the opportunity to learn Positive Behaviour Support methods.
