The Strategic Procurement Data and eEnablement Team are looking for an enthusiastic eProcurement Assistant to join their team. You will be working in a fast-paced environment and require confidence and initiative to flexibly support the different functions of the Strategic Procurement team. 

The role will create and publish web content and purchasing guidance for the organisation and its customers and promote its availability; administering systems which support and enable team and process efficiencies and helping create reports that influence procurement key decisions and more. Each day will be varied and present new and interesting challenges. 

We are looking for someone with strong skills regarding attention to detail who is a confident user of the Microsoft Office 365 package of applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint and Teams. You need to be comfortable and driven to work well on your own initiative as well as working in a small team. 

The successful applicant will have strong stakeholder management skills, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be confident in engaging with customers at all levels including senior managers. Applicants will also need a keen aptitude and ability to be quick to learn explore new systems/technology to identify efficiencies and process improvement. Some knowledge of the public sector procurement environment and purchase to pay (P2P) processes is desirable. Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate & Power Apps) and SAP is also desirable but not essential.
