Your Impact:

We are seeking passionate, experienced EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) Consultants to work on a portfolio of flood alleviation schemes across England.

We are looking for talented and motivated environmental professionals with experience in co-ordinating, managing and delivering EIAs and associated consenting, with a particular emphasis on flood and coastal defence projects.

The successful candidates will join one of our local Environmental Assessment teams while becoming part of a respected and ambitious company with a friendly culture, career prospects and international opportunities!

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • A Masters degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent level of experience
  • A good understanding of the environmental impacts associated with infrastructure developments, such as river and coastal flood defence schemes as well as coastal strategies.
  • Experience in delivering EIAs and other types of assessments for a range of clients
  • Experience in a key discipline area, such as ecology, landscape assessment, hydrology, and EIA.
  • A good awareness and understanding of relevant stakeholders
  • Strong organisational, communication and inter-personal skills and collaborative working capabilities to co-ordinate and work within multi-disciplinary and diverse teams
  • Chartered status and Full Membership of a recognised relevant professional body Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA). Where a candidate does not meet this requirement, they would be expected to achieve this within their first year.
