What you will be doing 
We are currently seeking a dynamic Planning & Reporting Analyst to join our wholesale market services department which facilitates the delivery of our business’s new market obligations. We enable the sale of services to all companies licensed to operate in the water markets, this equates to over £400m of revenue that is managed within the team. As well as managing approximately £40m of risk associated with market compliance.

You will form part of the market operations team and will drive a focused initiative with a direct impact or recognised revenue and the organisation’s cash position by validating regularly produced operations reports, troubleshooting issues with reports and requirements gathering from operations teams for new reports or analysis of existing data sets.

We’re looking for you to: 

  • We are seeking a resilient individual with a strong analytical background and project management background. 
  • You will have good commercial awareness, excellent initiative and the ability to lead people from diverse teams towards a common, time-bound goal. 
  • You will be comfortable with extracting, analysing and interpreting data with a view to providing useful insights. 
  • You will be able to plan and track your own work and ask for support when appropriate. 
  • You will have good written and verbal communication skills and will be confident presenting to your peers and Managers
