To provide an effective and efficient funding administration support service to Economic Development, contributing to the overall aims of the service, and ensuring that colleagues are supported in delivering multi-funded initiatives.
The post holder needs to hold as a minimum:
Educated to Higher level or equivalent qualification in relevant subjects
The post holder will be expected to:
Provide funding and administrative support for the preparation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of economic development projects.
Prepare and maintain accurate records, databases, files and documentation.
Handle calls from customers seeking advice on funding options
Assess grant applications against set funding criteira to recommend approval or rejection with justification
Ensure effective and efficient use of resources.
Assist with the preparation of funding reporting requirements, including the collation of supporting evidence materials to the required quality standard.
The post holder needs to be able to demonstrate an understanding or experience of:
project and financial administrative procedures and good practice.
Effective communication and stakeholder engagement
Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc.
