We have an exciting opportunity for a Contract Delivery Manager in the North West covering North Wales and the Chester area for our new client Scottish Power. The Contract Delivery Manager will work in liaison with the Operations Manager to ensure overhead power line Arboricultural work is completed on the resilience and maintenance contracts, utilising a team of operational staff. The role will be split equally between management of a team of Project Managers and taking a hands-on approach; surveying and organising their own work.

A strong Arboricultural, Tree or Electical knowledge will be a distinct advantage for this role.

    Who are we looking for?

    The candidate will ideally have some, but not necessarily all, of the following:

  • 3-5 years experience in similar job role
  • Supervisory experience of organising, motivating and managing a team
  • Ability to prioritise workload and balance demands from numerous sources to ensure that all stakeholder needs are met
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
  • Personable character; able to interact, communicate, influence and motivate others
  • Results Driven
  • Excellent organisational, communication and planning skills
  • NPTC Utility Arboriculture Units 1, 2.1, 5.1 and 5.2
  • Holds a full, valid driving license
  • LANTRA Basic or Professional Tree Inspectors Qualification
