Claims Continuous Improvement Analyst: Ageas Insurance havean exciting opportunity available to join the Claims team as a ContinuousImprovement Analyst. Working within a dynamic Claims function that ispassionate about innovating and improving what we do for our customersalongside protecting indemnity spend, the Claims Continuous Improvement Analystwill be vital in pushing forward and facilitating initiatives and changes inClaims.

As a Claims Continuous Improvement Analyst, youwill use your skills to facilitate the development of processes, supportprojects, support and lead change and improvement initiatives across claims inorder to maximise the financial benefit to the company and provide an efficientand quality service to internal and external customers.

Main Responsibilities as Claims Continuous Improvement Analyst:

  • Lead and support continuous improvement, applying systematic thinking to identify and remove failure demand, improve processes and facilitate process, organisational and IT system change.
  • Contribute to the delivery of the Claims Strategic Initiatives, which will involve supporting identified projects as well as leading and supporting delivery and change management of wider Claims projects and initiatives, to include monitoring implementation and tracking impact of change.
  • Support the delivery of Business Process Reviews using the Check–Plan–Do method,
  • Maintain high level process maps for each product.Liaison with Claims teams to ensure changes to processes are systemic and aligned to claims purpose
  • To support Claims with analysis of claims, claims data and reporting
  • To contribute, when required, towards the claims element of any business tender document and broker, partner or scheme relationship management
  • To be available as technical and other reference points for all Ageas Claims staff and to take the opportunity to reinforce The Ageas Way in Claims at all times
  • Skills and experience you need as Claims Continuous Improvement Analyst

  • Numeric – A high level of numeric ability tounderstand, evaluate and interpret complex claims, financial and workflowrelated data, to understand and analyse business impacts, monitor impact ofchanges and benefit realisation.
  • Communication – Excellent written skills to dealwith writing updates and plans. Must be fluent and confident in communicatingwith both internal and external stakeholders, customers and staff. Persuasive and convincing with arguments. Consultative, collaborative, approachable andpersistent. Good at facilitating,probing facts and challenging assumptions. Highly respected and trusted by others.
  • Knowledge : Asubstantive understanding of the objectives of the claims processes along withinsurance, legal and business practice knowledge to be able to evaluate theclaims processes. Good knowledge of project and change management methodologyand practices
  • Work-related – Goodorganisational, planning and facilitation skills; good analytical skills inproblem identification and solving. Mustbe able to work independently, and use own initiative to follow throughinvestigations.
  • Qualifications – Holding or making progress towards aCII qualification
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word and Visio is essential
