About the opportunity:

Here in Ireland, with offices in Dublin, Cork and Belfast, our growing Water & Environment team boasts an extensive portfolio working on high profile, challenging projects, providing multidisciplinary solutions to water, wastewater, environment, flood management and energy clients both here and in the UK. From feasibility studies and planning, to design, construction management and operations and maintenance, we bring together the talent and expertise necessary to deliver success.

We currently have opportunities for a Civil Engineer with water/wastewater engineering experience to join our Water & Environment team, based in our Belfast Office. The successful person will become part of a respected and ambitious company with excellent career prospects and international opportunities.

The primary focus for the role will be in leading or undertaking project tasks and engineering design on water and wastewater projects at various stages in the project life cycle, working with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects within agreed timeframes and budgets and to exceed our clients’ expectations.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Minimum of an accredited Honours Civil Engineering Degree (NFQ Level 8).
  • Experience in the water or wastewater engineering industry ideally in design.
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team, liaising directly with client and other project team members.
  • Excellent communication skills, including written work.
  • Working knowledge of budget management and financial performance
  • Working knowledge of contract types and procurement options
  • Chartered Engineer (desirable)
