Patient Catering Assistant
Various Shifts available: 12 Hours Casual – 6-month FTC
26.25 Hours – Two-week Rota – Week 1 Mon/Tue/Sat/Sun 12:00 – 8:00pm. Week 2 – Wed/Thurs/Fri 12:00 – 8:00pm.
Location: James Cook University Hospital
As the Catering Assistant you will comply with the Company’s policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective service delivery. You will undertake duties as identified by the Restaurant Manager and carry out responsibilities including preparation of food with preparation procedures, using standard recipes and portion control. You will ensure all equipment is in a clean and hygienic condition and guarantee safe working practices are maintained at all times.

Ability to follow instructions safely and effectively
Good communication skills
Lifting & Handling Awareness
Previous catering experience
Understand importance of meeting Key Performance Indicators to a required standard
Cash handling experience
