£9.20 an hour
Leeds Mental Health Services (Outreach & Supported Living)
(Ad-hoc shifts as & when required incl. long days, waking nights, early & late shifts & sleep-ins. Shifts available over 7 days.)
We are seeking to recruit Casual Support Workers to provide support to clients Mental Health needs. You will need experience of working with people who have a mental health diagnosis and have a non-judgemental and calm approach.
Our Mental Health Services Belle Vue Road and Hartwell Road are our two Supported Living Services providing support to ten clients. Staff are expected to do support plans and risk assessments, support clients with their everyday needs and activities, following their support plans, maintaining records to expected standards and some daily housekeeping duties. There is no hands-on personal care in any of the services.
Our Leeds Mental Health Outreach Service supports clients who live in their own tenancies within Leeds. With a large diverse staff team, we support individuals to manage their daily living needs. This includes budgeting, shopping, cooking, domestic chores, accessing the community for such things as education, volunteering, employment, and health needs.
The Support Worker will work with the management team on achieving good outcomes for the clients we support. You may at times be supporting clients with complex needs. You will also need your own car or be able access public transport.
