Oakridge House is a nursing and residential home located half a mile North of Basingstoke town centre, providing professional and compassionate care to the frail and those with a diagnosed dementia. Easily accessible with a bus route passing the home and ample parking within the grounds.
Oakridge House have opportunities for Care Assistant’s to join our friendly and supportive team. We are able to provide both nursing and residential care to older adults with complex health needs, including individuals living with dementia. As a service we pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality of care and support and are looking for individuals that share our values of being person centred , working together , accountability and resilience . Life experience is often more important than work experience in these hugely rewarding roles, if you share our values we can teach you the rest!
No two days are the same in this varied and rewarding role. As a general guide, your duties may include:
• Supporting individuals with personal care
• Support with hydration and nutrition
• Moving and positioning
• Accurate record keeping
• Undertaking activities such as entertainment and recreation to enhance the wellbeing of individuals
• Supporting Individuals with medication

Care Assistant –
Full COVID-19 vaccination status will be required as a condition of employment. Recent legislation now mandates that anyone working in a CQC registered care home, which includes all regulated services in HCC Care, and those visiting in a professional capacity, must be fully vaccinated (MHRA approved) by 11 November 2021
