The Role:

There is an opportunity to join our friendly and supportive care team in our long stay learning disability residential home, Homewood Care Home.

Our service aims to enable adults with a learning disability to engage in meaningful activities, developing communication resources, participate in living in their own home and support with their daily needs including personal care.

This position is a waking night duty and we are looking for someone to work a contract of two nights a week on a flexible rota over 7nights a week to support the people at Homewood with their night time needs. And additional hours when required. 

The role will also involve household tasks, security of the building, maintaining records relevant to working in a long stay residential home.

Recent legislation now mandates that anyone working in a CQC registered care home, which includes all regulated services in HCC Care, and those visiting in a professional capacity, must be fully vaccinated (MHRA approved) by 11 November 2021.
