Cardiac Rehabilitation Technical Instructor
30 hours over 4-5 days between the hours of Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm.
Base: Connahs Quay Health Centre, Flintshire or Wrexham Maelor Hospital, depending upon applicant, with travel between the two areas.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and motivated individual to take on this newly created, fixed term or secondment post within the established Cardiac Rehabilitation Service. There is a high probability that this post will be advertised permanently following a review of its effectiveness.
The Cardiac Rehabilitation Technical Instructor will work independently under the direction of the cardiac rehabilitation practitioners, to provide highly skilled support work. The role is varied and will include demonstration of physical activity, strengthening and exercise techniques to individual and groups of patients in community settings leisure centres, patients homes, community hospitals. Travel will be involved within Wrexham and Flintshire in a timely fashion. The post holder will be expected to gain further skills and will be supported to do so.
