About the opportunity:
Jacobs is creating an enviable reputation within the UK and Republic of Ireland water sector as a result of a portfolio of high profile projects with water companies across the UK and Republic Of Ireland. We are looking to appoint talented people to join us in our Water Resources & Regulation team to continue our focus on developing relationships and delighting our clients (90% of our business is repeat business). The role can be based from any of our UK offices working flexibly. You may have a background with Ofwat, a Regulation role within a water company or have been in a similar role within consultancy. Our Water Resources & Regulation team works with water companies across Great Britain, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. We are one of the leading providers of technical assurance and regulatory advice in the water sector and are actively seeking candidates who have a background in this.
As part of the Jacobs UK Water Resources & Regulation team you will be responsible for the development and management of key client relationships, for positioning for and directing the preparation of regulatory advice and technical assurance proposals for winning work, for the direction of a number of projects, working closely with the leadership team, and with other Jacobs Operating Units at all times. You will also be responsible for developing and delivering packages of work for our clients working as a proven practitioner.
